We, Claudia and Yves, have been living in Oaxaca since January 1998. We opened 'tierraventura' in March 1999.

Why an "ecoturismo" travel agency?

We have realized that the state of Oaxaca offers so many places to discover. As a tourist you won't get the chance to visit them (even if you have a very good guidebook) because information is difficult to obtain.

We are fascinated every time by the richness of cultures, diverse landscapes and the hospitality and cordiality of the local communities.

After all these years in operation, we have had time to reflect on our goals and achievements. More and more enthusiastic clients have encouraged us to believe that we are on the right path. We have invested much time on developing our concept, designed new interesting tours for you and discovered new places. Our cooperation with many families and communities has intensified. We are very proud to have helped a number of projects begin successfully and to continue with our support.

Our clients' enthusiasm to discover and contribute to the preservation of Oaxaca's many small paradises encourages us to continue our work bringing international visitors and local communities together.
