LLANO GRANDE - 1 day (hiking in the cloud forest) Explore the Cloud forest... Llano Grande is the smallest and highest village of Los Pueblos Mancomunados. Surrounded by pine forest the 150 inhabitants live in the cleanest community of Mexico and are happy to show you their beautiful area. Our hike takes us through meadows covered with wild flowers and pine forest and leads to some dramatic views. Back in the village we enjoy a delicious lunch at the Kata's restaurant. You also have the opportunity to stay overnight in the beautiful wooden cabañas of the village and enjoy the sunrise at Piedra Larga, a spectacular peak 3200 m (10500 feet) high over the northern Sierra.
